There’s something special about slowing down and spending an evening together as a family, and that’s exactly what the Rodriguez-Allen family did during their session at Mead Botanical Garden.
Mead is one of my favorite locations for family sessions because it has a little bit of everything—beautiful light, gorgeous greenery, and plenty of space for kids to explore and just be themselves. It’s the perfect setting for capturing natural moments without anyone feeling rushed or overly posed.
The Rodriguez-Allen family made my job easy. The kids were full of personality, there was lots of laughter, and the whole session felt more like a family outing than a photo shoot. Those are always my favorite sessions because the best photos happen in the moments in between—the giggles, the cuddles, the hand squeezes, and the way everyone naturally connects with one another.
One of the things I love most about family photography is freezing these little moments in time. The days can feel long, but the years move fast. Having photographs that capture your family exactly as you are right now becomes more meaningful with every passing year.
Rodriguez-Allen family, thank you for spending the evening with me and trusting me to document this season of your lives. It was such a joy getting to know you, and I hope these images bring back all the sweet memories of this day for years to come.
Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
